Interview with Connor
I met Connor through the festival organizers and later his parents. @Hedgwatch also caught up with him in the Songlines tent: when I mentioned we are about to interview a young, talented boy she bet it was him. Wychwood is such a lovely, small venue, that you come across the same people all the time. We have seen Connor walking with his dad on Sunday morning, on our way from Thrill Collins gig, wearing those t-shirts.
For me personally those two photos express the family friendly spirit of the event! The reason why we wanted to talk to Connor is not only because he is an amazing person, but also to hear about his experiences of Wychwood Festival. He started attending it at the age of 8, and this year was his 4th festival, so I really wanted to hear how he saw the event growing, developing, evolving. I also wanted to know what are the elements that Wychwood managed to maintain and build on. Here is our conversation:
Connor has a band and wants to be a music journalist in the future.
